Doo Dah, Family Day, and Friends!

Hi M ~

So, July started out with a bang with our annual Doo Dah parade and the Fourth of July fireworks. Daddy gave us a small scare during the Doo Dah parade when he became so dehydrated that he ended up in an ambulance and spending a few hours in the local ER. Ultimately, it was not a huge issue, but it appears that our little family just can't get through a summer without a health scare from our sweet Daddy. I sure hope next summer is health scare-free! Anyway, the parade had lots of fun characters...as usual.

taking your job of lighting sparklers very seriously

The fireworks were great...but my favorite part of July is by far getting to celebrate Family Day with you. We are putting off a big party until September when it cools off a bit, but we had our quaint celebration with you, me, Daddy, Lao Lao, and Audrey joined us this year too! Dinner out and go-karts were the order of the night on July 6th! It was so much fun...I haven't laughed that hard in quite a while. We love you, kiddo!

Here are Daddy's and my posts on Facebook to share our gratitude for getting to share this crazy life with you.

The rest of July was full of more summer fun.

July also included a visit from our friends, the Williams family, from Virginia! It was so much fun to host all 5 of them, have some big laughs and enjoy some good quality time with a fantastic family. Love them to pieces!

while we were out with the Williams family
one night, Lao Lao went to a wedding...

look how pretty your grandma is!
vavavavoom!
and now that you've joined Messenger,
these are the texts we share during
summer break and while I'm at work

And now, since Daddy works from home for his new boss, you have the opportunity to spontaneously skip summer camp, stay home with him, and take Memaw out to breakfast. This was another fun text I got. So cute!

So my dear...July is done, August is up next. The summer is just flying by!

Love you so much!
Mama
