We were just in the biggest hail storm I have ever seen! You, Audrey Ayi, and I were sitting in the car at a stop sign, watching a storm brewing and listening to the thunder, when all of a sudden, BAM! It started hailing, bigger and bigger, until the pellets were the size of medium to large pebbles. Maybe it doesn't sound so big now, but it was so loud as it pounded our car that none of us could hear each other talking! You did great...just enjoying the craziness that was happening all around us, while Audrey and I tried to hold it together, hoping the pellets wouldn't get any bigger.
After 5-10 minutes, it finally subsided and we were able to continue on our way. However, when we all came home an hour and a half later, the hail pellets were still laying all over our yard. It was so cool! You wanted to get your camera so you could take pictures of it...so here you are...documenting your first hail storm.
